SCHOOL RULES

  1. Students should cooperate promptly and courteously with all school staff, obeying  instructions as soon as they are given.
  2. Students should strive to achieve their full potential.
  3. Students should attend school each day the school is open.  If this is not possible, a phone call to the school office and a note in the school journal on his return is required.
  4. The school uniform should be worn in full all day.  Students must wear black shoes, runners are not acceptable.  All students should wear the official school jacket.
  5. All Students should be punctual for class.  Students should be present at 8.55am in the morning and 1.55pm after lunch.  Students who are not on time for the first class in the morning or afternoon should ‘sign in’ at the school office.  Students must remain on the school premises form 8.55 am to 1.05 pm and from 2 pm to 4 pm unless they are taking part in an organised school activity.
  6. Students should have the appropriate textbooks, notebooks and writing materials with them for each class.  At all times, students should have their school journal with them.
  7. Students must show respect for the rights of others at all times.  This rule particularly forbids:

(a)  Bullying of any kind.
(b)  Chewing, drinking or eating in class.
(c)  The possession or use of aerosol sprays, tippex or similar products.
(d)  Theft, damage and/or interference with the property of the school, staff members,       school visitors or other students.
(e)  Disruptive behaviour which prevents a teacher teaching and/or students learning.
(f)  Any action that puts others at risk of injury.

  • Smoking is prohibited on the school premises, in the immediate vicinity of the school and on school activities.
  • No student may possess, distribute, consume or be under the influence of alcohol or drugs during school hours or any activity organised by the school. 
  • The use of mobile phones on the school premises is forbidden at all times.
  • Earrings, nose studs, eyebrow rings/bars or other items of facial piercing must be removed before entering the school grounds.
  • Students must never behave in a manner that would damage the reputation of our school.
